Aaron Across the Multiverse · The Gallatin March • 1489
The Black Mustache
Count twice, cut once. A mask that fools nobody.
Origin
By day, Aaron Tallyman is the mild-mannered tally clerk in the Baron’s counting house. By night, he’s the Black Mustache, a masked rapier swordsman who rides a shaggy, barking warhorse named Sir Boone and takes the Baron’s crooked tolls back to the people of the Gallatin March. Everyone knows who he is, because the mask doesn’t cover the mustache. Everyone except the Baron’s auditor.
