Found a new gate, a closure, a wrong pin or a mistake in a guide? Know a route that belongs here? Tell us below.
What helps most
- The trail name or ID (for example, MT-0023) and roughly where on the route.
- What you saw and the date you saw it.
- A source if you have one: a Forest Service or BLM notice, an MVUM page, a county road list, or a link to your photos.
- For a new trail: where it starts, which agency manages it, and how you know it is open to motor vehicles.
What happens next
- Every report is reviewed and checked against official sources before anything on the site changes.
- Nothing you send is published automatically, and your email address is never published.
- Only send photos you took or have the rights to share. Photos are used only with your permission and credit.
Closures and emergencies: this form is not monitored in real time. For an emergency, call 911. For an urgent road or fire closure, contact the managing ranger district or BLM field office listed on the trail's guide page.
Guides are reviewed periodically and conditions change. Always check the current Motor Vehicle Use Map, posted signs and agency alerts before you go.
