Racing & Trail Clubs
Southwest Montana SCCA
Where I chase cones. The Southwest Montana Region runs autocross and solo events across our corner of the state: tight courses, stopwatch honesty and a paddock full of people who'd rather be driving.
SCCA
The Sports Car Club of America is the backbone of grassroots motorsports in the U.S., from autocross and track nights to road racing and rally. It's how a regular person with a regular car ends up on course.
TLCA
The Toyota Land Cruiser Association connects Cruiser clubs and owners nationwide, runs events like Rubithon and publishes Toyota Trails magazine. If it wears a Land Cruiser badge, TLCA has a story about it.

Tread Lightly!
Stay on legal routes, drive smooth, pack it out and leave the place better than you found it. Tread Lightly!'s principles are how a full-size 4x4 keeps its welcome on the trail.
BlueRibbon Coalition
BlueRibbon fights to keep roads and trails open to responsible motorized use, through travel-planning comments, policy work and grassroots action. The trails don't stay open on their own.

Hatch Adventures
Hatch isn't a sponsor. He's a genuinely cool guy, a good friend and, every so often, generous enough to hand me the keys to his toys. That's how I ended up hitting 55 mph in a Tacoma Trailhunter at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes. Go say hi, and if he lends you something, bring it back with a full tank.
Cruise Moab
Slickrock, Land Cruisers and a week of Moab's most iconic trails. Somewhere along the way I became Cruise Moab's unofficial bad-boy outcast: blacklisted, still showing up, and apparently incapable of taking the hint. Best event on the calendar anyway.
