The 2026 Vigilante 77 Rally brought the Jackalope Drivers Club to Virginia City for several days of fast roads, mountain passes, historic Montana stops and just enough dirt to make the clean-car crowd nervous. The wonderfully mismatched field included Porsches, rally-prepared classics, American muscle, lifted oddballs and modern performance cars—all set against Montana’s wide-open scenery and Virginia City’s Old West backdrop.

These photographs follow the rally from polished downtown lineups and roadside regroups to high-speed runs across remote backroads. By Sunday, the Dirt Crew had traded clean paint for gravel, dust clouds and fast, loose-road action. Vigilante 77 was about using interesting cars the way they were meant to be used: driven hard, shared with good people and sent home wearing the evidence of a memorable weekend.
